Hello! I'm Margaux
Born in the South of France, I've been hyperactive since birth, dynamic, always smiling and motivated. I have been a high level athlete in inline speed skating since 2012. I made a transition toward cycling, and particularly fixed cycling in 2017. In 2019, I continue racing fixed criterium the Look Criterium Team and I start racing some road races in Spain. After a big season in fixed criterium I got hooked up by a UCI Italian team on road for 2020, and by the endurance track National team, let's see what's next !

I graduated in Physiotherapy in the EUSES English School of Barcelona in June 2019, I am motivated to shadow and help a physiotherapist!

They have in the clinic the vacuum machine named "Physium". I learn different techniques and ways to use it and how to complete the treatment with manual therapy like PNF, Guasha, exercises, Facia techniques,....

ATHLETE CAREER
What is that ? Inline Speed Skating ? And Fixed Cyclisme ?
Inline Speed Skating is a sport between Ice Skating that you can see at the Olympic Games and Cyclisme. In France, the lowest level of competition is some local criterium, after you will have regional competition, selection to go to the French Championship. If you have been great at a national level, you will have enough point to enter in the French Selection and go to the European Championship.
There are three different championships. The first one is at the begging of the season, Indoor, with sprint and long race. One current May, on a 400m long asphalte circuit, with 4 races; 100m, 400m, 5k point and 10k elimination. The last one is on a 200m track, very similar to a velodrome but with less angle in the corner. (~ 10-20°)
Fixed Gear Cyclisme is a new discipline in the bike world, the extreme side of the road bike. These are races on a closed circuit with a track bike, it's mean one chainring and one sprocket. Races happen generally by night. The most challenging race of the season is Red Hook Criterium Series, where there are four stages, Brooklyn, London, Barcelona and Milan.
After there are others important criterium as the Fixed Nation Cup (the equivalent of a world cup by nations), the Rapha Nocturne Series (London & Copenhagen), the NLCrit Series or the Rad Race who have many different kinds of races.
